Oh honey, how awful. I hope you feel better soon! Here's my recipe for a tea that I make when I feel horrible:

5 slices of fresh ginger root

1/2 cup lemon juice (You can use fresh, but when I'm miserable, I don't feel like standing around squeezing lemons all day, so I just buy the juice)

4 whole cloves

Honey, to taste

Cayenne Pepper

Put ginger slices, lemon juice, and cloves into 1/2 gallon of water and bring to a boil on the stove. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Strain out the ginger and cloves. Pour into a mug, add honey, and sprinkle the top with a TINY amount of cayenne pepper. This will clear your sinuses, make your tummy feel better, soothe your throat, and warm you up. You can store the remainder in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Oh, that sounds so good!

I have to trudge out to the grocery store ( we don't even have cat food!) so I've written down those ingredients. And now I am looking forward to getting home to sit under a warm blanket with a hot cup of your brew in my hands :) Thank you so much!
